Chinese Studio Pottery Vase with Flambe Glaze

A striking studio-made Chinese pottery vase finished in a beautiful blue-grey speckled flambé glaze. The form features gently flared shoulders and a wide rim, complemented by a pair of sculpted figural side handles that have a subtle dragon-like character.
 
This piece doesn’t have significant age but has a lovely presence and displays very well. Glazed inside and out, it’s fully watertight and suitable for fresh flowers. The base is unmarked.
 
Very good overall condition with no chips or cracks.
 
A decorative and bold piece that brings a touch of contemporary Chinese studio craftsmanship to any space.
