Vintage Sewing Box Side Table
A vintage sewing box dating from the 1950s–60s, which also works perfectly as a compact side table. It sits on swivel castor wheels, making it easy to manoeuvre around the room.
The lift-up lid opens to reveal a neatly upholstered interior and is fitted with brass hinges. Below is a small drawer, with an open storage shelf beneath. There are two side compartments on either side, ideal for knitting needles, magazines, or papers.
Constructed from plywood and solid wood with a warm, dark finish. The piece is clean and tidy overall, with some marks to the top consistent with age and use.
A practical and characterful mid-century piece with plenty of storage and everyday usability.
