Victorian Oak Desk with Drawer

A Victorian oak desk with a single top drawer, constructed from solid oak in a traditional Victorian style. It is fitted with later Art Deco style handles, which add an interesting layer to its history and give the piece a subtle mixed-period appeal.
 
The desk stands on round turned legs and has a raised back gallery. There is a burn mark to the gallery, possibly from a candle, which adds to the character and sense of age rather than detracting from it.
 
Overall, the desk is in nice, clean condition, with polishing marks and surface wear throughout, consistent with age and use.
 
A characterful and practical antique desk, full of charm and historical interest.

Delivery Details
Delivery will be 1 man, ground floor, kerbside and will be 1-2 weeks (or sooner).
If you are unable to assist the courier and require 2 man delivery then there may be an additional charge.
Deliveries within a Congestion Zone will be an additional £15.
