Small Vintage Round Coffee Table

A vintage round side table dating from the Utility Furniture Scheme period in the
 
United Kingdom, produced during World War II (circa 1942–1952). The table stands on elegant cabriole legs, adding a subtle classical touch to an otherwise restrained and functional design.
 
It features a plywood top with the original UK Board of Trade stamp to the underside, confirming its place within the Utility Furniture Scheme, which was created to provide affordable, well-made furniture during a time of material shortages.
 
A lovely example of thoughtful, understated design with genuine historical interest. The table shows some scuffs and surface wear to the top, consistent with age and use. A charming and practical piece that works well in both traditional and modern interiors.
