Large Vintage Chest of Drawers Painted Brown
A charming and characterful large vintage chest of drawers, full of post-war practicality and history.
It has been painted several times over the years, now showing a rich brown finish with some gold borders on the top and left side. The construction is particularly interesting, the drawer bottoms and carcass are made from repurposed Indian tea chests, a resourceful use of materials typical of the post-war period when timber was rationed.
There are some scuffs and marks all over, consistent with age and use, and it could easily be repainted if desired, though it remains clean, tidy, and ready to use as is.
The drawers run well and provide generous storage space. It’s sturdy, full of charm, and would make a great addition to an eclectic, rustic, or vintage-inspired interior.

Delivery Details
Delivery will be 1 man, ground floor, kerbside and will be 1-2 weeks (or sooner).
If you are unable to assist the courier and require 2 man delivery then there may be an additional charge.
Deliveries within a Congestion Zone will be an additional £15.
