Art Deco Side Table Painted Green

An Art Deco square side table featuring a practical lower shelf, ideal for storing books, magazines, or everyday items out of sight.
 
Dating from the 1930s–40s, the piece is constructed from solid wood and ply wood and is both strong and relatively lightweight, making it easy to move around the home. It retains several layers of historic paint, with the current finish in a bold Art Deco green, adding to its charm and layered history.
 
The table stands on distinctive stepped Art Deco feet and has a nicely balanced, simple form typical of the period.
 
There are some screw holes to the top and general signs of age and use, as expected. It would benefit from repainting if preferred, but is perfectly usable as it is.
 
A versatile piece that would work well as a bedside table or a side table in a living room.
